Hello! I'm Mehmet Can, the founder of Guide Turco and your personal local expert in Turkey.

My journey to becoming a guide is not your typical story. After graduating from medical school, I served as a doctor in the military on Turkey's southern border and later worked as an orthopedic doctor in Zonguldak, in the north. Although being a doctor is a noble profession, my true passion has always been exploration, living a high-energy lifestyle, and forming genuine connections with people. I decided to take a break from my medical career to pursue my passion and showcase Turkey's hidden gems to the world.

As a licensed mountaineer and avid traveler, I have explored every corner of Turkey, from its highest peaks to its most historic sites. With my advanced English and Spanish skills, I can establish both professional and personal connections with my guests from around the world, accompanying them not just as a guide, but as a trusted local friend.
