Anıtkabir Tour

Our first stop will be the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, where the foundations of the Republic of Turkey were laid, followed by the Second Parliament Building. After a brief photo stop there, we head to Ankara Castle, one of the city's symbols. By visiting the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations located near the castle, we witness the thousands-of-years history of the civilizations that lived in Anatolia. We then proceed to the Ethnography Museum. Here, we pay our respects at the catafalque where the coffin of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was kept between 1938 and 1953, and we examine the artifacts that reflect Anatolia's cultural life. After the free time we allocate for lunch, we embark on a panoramic city tour of Ankara and reach Anıtkabir. Passing through Peace Park, we enter the Anıtkabir complex, see the Independence and Liberty Towers, then walk along the Lion’s Road. Arriving at the Ceremony Square, we visit the mausoleum of the founder of the Republic of Turkey, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and pay our respects. We then visit the Atatürk and War of Independence Museum. Inside the museum, accompanied by our guide’s commentary, we explore Atatürk’s personal belongings, handwritten manuscripts, library, the Gallipoli Campaign, the National Struggle, and the panorama and exhibition halls that narrate the founding process of the Republic. After our visit to Anıtkabir, we begin our return journey, following the Bolu route towards Istanbul. We bid you farewell, hoping to meet again at another of our organizations, dear guests.
