We meet with our guide and group at Sultanahmet Square (At Meydanı).
In this square, which is the heart of the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires, we listen to our guide's enjoyable commentary about the Obelisk, Serpent Column and German Fountain.
10:00 - 11:30 | Visit to Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque)
We visit the Sultanahmet Mosque, one of the world's most famous places of worship and a 17th-century architectural masterpiece.
We get detailed information about the more than 20,000 blue Iznik tiles adorning its interior and its unique six-minaret structure, and we take magnificent photos.
11:45 - 13:00 | Lunch Break in the Historical Peninsula
We head to our historic restaurant to taste the region's famous Sultanahmet Meatballs and enjoy a short rest break.
13:15 - 16:30 | Exploring Topkapi Palace and the Sacred Relics
We enter Topkapi Palace, which hosted Ottoman sultans for approximately 400 years.
We explore the Bab-ı Humayun (Imperial Gate), Divan-ı Humayun (Cubbaltu), the Treasury (Spoonmaker's Diamond), and the Sacred Relics sections with our expert guide.
